From Monday 31st October to Friday 18th November 2016, essential gas diversion works will be taking place on the A6 in High Lane as part of the preparation works for the south tie-in of the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road.
During this time, temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A6 Buxton Road, 24 hours a day from the Thai Fusion restaurant to Wellington Road, High Lane. The lights will be manned from 7:15am to 6:45pm Monday to Saturday to minimise queuing at the busiest times.
Norbury Hollow Road will also be closed during this period. The closure will be in place from the A6 side of Norbury Hollow Road, through to Middlewood Road and a signed diversion route via Buxton Road, Macclesfield Road, Park Lane and Middlewood Road will be in operation. Access will be maintained for businesses and residential properties via the above diversion route.
We apologise in advance for any delays or inconvenience these works may cause.
