Helping to Inspire a Future Generation of Engineers
Members of the A6 Manchester Airport Relief Road team have visited Haveley Hey Primary School to inspire students and get them thinking about their future jobs and careers.
A555/ Woodford Road, Bramhall: Temporary Roundabout in Operation from 22nd May
From 23rd May 2016 until summer 2017, a temporary roundabout will be in operation at the A555/ Woodford Road, Bramhall junction.
Huge Rail Bridge sucessfully slid into place
Work on the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road took a huge step forward over the Easter weekend as a new 2,000 tonne rail bridge was successfully slid into place on the Hazel Grove to Buxton railway line.
Hazel Grove Rail Bridge Slide – 25th to 29th March
As part of the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR), a new bridge is being constructed that will take the Hazel Grove Rail to Buxton railway line over the new road.
Works on the A6, Hazel Grove 7th – 24th March
From the 7th March 2016, traffic management will be in place on the A6 between Norbury Hollow Road and Wellington Road in two phases.
