The phase of A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR) works requiring the one-way operation of Stanley Road, Cheadle Hulme was completed as planned on 10th October and the road is now back open to two-way traffic. This means that eastbound traffic on Stanley Road can again exit on the A34 via the A34/ Stanley Road Roundabout.
We would like to thank users of roads in this area for their patience during the six week period that the one-way system was in operation.
Works on the A34 and its junctions with Stanley Road and A555 will continue as the A6MARR works progress and we encourage you to keep informed about future traffic management on the roadworks page.
